Have you ever found the rear door shutting on you while trying to get in the back of your Defender? With a heavy spare wheel on the door the standard door stay can struggle to hold back the weight. These simple gas struts bolt in place of the standard catch to help open the door and keep it there.

These will fit all Defenders with the early style rear door (up to 2002). If you have the later rear door with the pressed framework, you’ll need DA1203 which we have listed in our eBay store.
