Defender Rear Door Stay Strut Kit

Does your Defender’s rear door sometimes close on you unexpectedly? This neat and easily installed gas strut kit will solve that problem and replaces the original door stopper. The gas strut will hold the door in place when open, even if you have a large spare wheel on the back of the door too. 

This kit will assist in the opening of the rear door too with a smoother and more controlled movement.

This kit comes complete with fittings and instructions. They are simple to install, please see our photos from our workshop to show how this fits.

This will fit the following vehicles:
Land Rover Defender – All models from Chassis No. 2A000001 onwards (2002)
