These springs are designed to lift the vehicle 2″ (50mm). This is the optimum lift before the mechanical limitations of the suspension design become an issue which requires further modification. When fitted with Terrafirmas +2″ shock absorbers you can transform the ride and ability of your Land Rover.
 
These springs are designed for light loads with up to 100kg of additional weight, such as vehicles with no additional equipment fitted, while allowing luggage in the loadspace. It will give a comfortable ride and greater flexibility. However if you intend to fit roof racks and winch bumpers then we’d recommend looking towards the medium duty version. In most cases medium duty will be advisable on Discoveryn 1s and Range Rover Classics. If your vehicle is often heavily laden for commercial or expedition use then heavy duty suspension will be the best option.
 
Terrafirma’s springs are made from the highest quality steel, formed on accurate computer controlled mandrels and precisely heat treated to ensure consistent manufacture. All springs are shot peened to relieve stress and scragged to ensure long spring life and prevent sagging. They are finally powder coated in Terrafirma’s unique silver for long lasting good looks. These springs are sold in pairs and the drivers side spring is 10mm taller.
 
These springs are also used for heavy load front suspension on all Defenders, Discovery 1s and Range Rover Classics.
