Losing fuel due to a punctured fuel tank can have disastrous consequences leaving you stranded miles from home with an unnecessary expense and a major repair task on your hands. Fuel tanks on 110 and 130 Land Rovers are under the rear overhang, vulnerable when the going gets tough. Terrafirma steel and alloy fuel tank guards provide complete protection against rocks etc off-road and allow you to drive worry free across difficult terrain. This is designed to fit 110 and 130 wheelbase Defenders from 1983 to 1998, up to the end of 300Tdi models. This alloy guard uses existing fixing points. They are also designed to allow fitment of standard rear steps and towing kits. This will not fit TD5 and TDCIs with the plastic tank.
