Whether you are off for a family bike ride or a weekend away mountain biking, you are going to need somewhere safe to carry your bikes. This rack is the ideal solution. This carries 4 bikes on the spare wheel mount on the rear door. Its far easier to load than a roof rack, and you can still open the back door. Something you cannot do with a tow ball mounted carrier.
 
This sturdy steel bike rack is black powder coated for a durable and long lasting finish. It is safely fitted to the spare wheel bracket on the rear door. It has a bracket that shares the 3 studs, clamped in place by the wheel. The rack then fits on the bracket and is locked in place. This makes for a very secure fitting which can be easily removed if not in use. As this uses the same stud pattern as the wheels, this will not fit earlier Discovery 1 models.

If you have a bike with a lower crossbar such as ladies hybrid/shopper bikes with a step through frame, you will need a false crossbar. These are usually easily available from cycle shops.

Please Note: Straps to hold the bikes on are not included.
